a famous Jewish settlement and Synagogue, the Dutch Palace, the

Day 02. COCHIN
– ALLEPPEY ( 2 Hours ).
Today drive to Alleppey, is a town in
Alappuzha
District of
Kerala
state of southern
India.
A town with picturesque
canals,
backwaters,
beaches,
and
lagoons,
it was described as the list of places known as Venice of the
East by
Lord Curzon.
Alleppey has a wonderful past. Though the present town owes its
existence to the sagacious
Diwan
Raja
Kesavadas in the second half of 18th century, district of
Alappuzha figures in classical Literature. Kuttanad, the rice bowl
of Kerala with the unending stretch of paddy fields, small streams
and canals with lush green coconut palms , was well known even from
the early periods of the Sangam age. History says Alappuzha had
trade relations with ancient Greece and Rome in B.C and in the
Middle Ages, as well as with other parts of India. Your
home stay 'Olavipe'- 'gift of the waves', in the local
language. It is 8 room with attached bathrooms, walking trails,
country boats, village fishing, swimming ponds, games like table
tennis, cricket etc., Family archives, village walks to old
churches and temples. All the meals will be taken with the family.

Day 03.
ALLEPPEY.
Morning at leisure to enjoy the place. You can take a bicycle tour
of the village or Learn the traditional techniques of making coir.
You can even walk through the village and soak up the ambience of
the place. Afternoon transfer to Alleppey Jetty to embark houseboat.
Alleppey –
One of the
most scenic backwaters of Kerala are to be seen near this town
of the coast of Kerala, India. Allapuzha is the venue for the annual
snake boat races held during the Onam festival, where teams compete
for the Nehru Gold Cup. The event is a popular tourist attraction
where crowds gather to cheer their favorite teams.

Day 04. ARRIVE
KUMARAKOM.
Morning arrive Kumarakom and take a rice barge cruise in the
backwater of Kerala and after lunch on board cruise to Philipkutty’s
Farm (the only way to approach this home stay). Three tastefully
done up cottages set in an idyllic surrounding, traditional homemade
food, and personal attention of the host and his family are the
highlights of the home-stay The cottages have modern toilets with
running water and all luxurious facilities

Day 05.
KUMARAKOM – COCHIN – CALICUT – TELLICHERI.
Drive to Cochin and board flight to Calicut IC 997 (1330-1400). You
will be received upon arrival and drive to Tellicheri (2 hours).
Arrive and check in at the hotel. Ayesha Manzil " is a
beautiful, old colonial style mansion overlooking the blue Arabian
sea. This bungalow was built in 1862 by Murdoch Brown, an
Englishman who came to Tellicherry as a trader of the East India
company. Murdoch Brown set up a 300 acre Cinnamon gardens largest in
Asia, 10 kms away from this house, which still exists and is the
only one- of - it's kind in the country. Formerly known as " Judges
Bungalow " the present house was renamed as "Ayesha Manzil " in 1900
when it was bought by T.M. Moosa a local Muslim trader. You can
enjoy the warm hospitality, fantastic traditional cuisine with the
emphasis on the fresh seafood and local culture.

Day 06. IN
TELLICHERI.
This place itself is very charming however, there are many other
activities like Fishing, walk in local spice market, handloom
weaving units - where cloth is still woven in the old way on Shuttle
weaves and get your clothes custom made by the local tailor.

Day 07.
TELLICHERY – VYTHRI ( 03 hours ).
rrive and check in at Tree House. 500 acres of pristine verdant
tropical rainforest. A totally dedicated Eco-lodge and ethnic houses
built on trees with all basic facilities. It provides all basic
amenities like double beds with an attached bathroom with flushing
toilette, telephone, shower, wash basin with running water, carpeted
veranda and sit-out. The House is made of Eco-friendly materials.

Day 08. VYTHRI
– SULTAN BATTERY ( 1 Hour )
Morning drive to Sultan Battery, arrive and check in at the Tranquil
resort. It is one of the best home stay in Kerala. It is situated
among the beautiful green hills and where spices are cultivated. You
can swim in the pool, lounge in a hammock, have a therapeutic
Ayurvedic massage or even unwind at a typical Kerala cultural, Dance
and Musical Programme. You can get all the peace you want in these
beautiful and unpolluted surroundings.
Sultan Battery,
is a medium town in
Wayanad
district of
Kerala,
India.
It derives its present name from
Tipu Sultan
of
Mysore
who captured the
Jain
temple here and used it as his battery here in the 18th century,
hence the name Sultan's Battery. Later, came to be known as Sulthan
Bathery, its
Malayalam
version of the name.

BATTERY.
Day at leisure or you can go for plantation tour or trekking in that
area or you may visit The watch tower constructed by Tipu Sultan, is
situated 4 km from the City. Built in black stones, it gives the
impression of a miniature fortress with its arrangements for
mounting cannons all-round.

Day 10. SULTAN
BATTERY – CALICUT – MUMBAI.
Drive to Calicut (3 hours) to board flight for Mumbai.. Arrive
Mumbai and further connect to your international flight to back
home.
